Where It All Began
Our story started in 1983, when Barry Lammle, a rancher from De Winton, Alberta, saw an opportunity to bring top brands in western wear together under one roof. With decades of retail experience at Hudson’s Bay Company, Barry had a deep understanding of what customers truly valued. Armed with this knowledge, he opened the first Lammle’s Western Wear store in Calgary, Alberta.
Barry’s vision was simple: meet the needs of everyday Albertans by offering the best in service, selection, and quality. That vision became the foundation of Lammle’s Western Wear and continues to guide us over 40 years later.
Our Growth & Partnerships
From one store in Calgary, we’ve grown to over 20 locations across Western Canada, serving communities with the latest in boots, hats, clothing, and accessories for the whole family. For those who can’t visit us in-store, our online store allows us to serve customers nationwide, making Lammle’s a trusted name across Canada.
